My wife and I recently purchased tickets two different sailing adventures upon the Frances, a 74 foot sailboat owned and operated by http://mainesailingadventures.net/. The first outing was hosted by Erica Archer of http://www.winewiseevents.com/. She is not only charming, but has more Master Sommelier credentials than I can comfortably list. This particular cruise was on the wonders of pinot noir and included tastings of 4 different wines accompanied by wonderful, cheeses and world class views. The atmosphere was very laid back and in between tasting wine we had a chance to meet many people who shared our foodie interests. Overall a fantastic way to enjoy a relaxing summers afternoon or kick off your evening.
