Lobster salad recipes from Bon Apetite

Congratulations Chef Bard from Zapoteca for making the list. Of course you can’t have lobster without thinking of Maine.

Empire Chinese Kitchen

Empire Chinese Kitchen is Portland Maine’s first Dim Sum restaurant. It’s menu is smaller than typically found in larger cities, but makes up for variety by the quality and intensity of each dish.

Pork belly buns with spicy plum sauce and pickles. Were the perfect mix of puffy bun, richness, and crunch.

Shu Mai, dumplings featured a rich shrimp and pork filling encased in beautiful pasta wrapper.
That plus a large bowl of silken tofu, pork and mixed vegetables in a rich spicy sauce made an excellent meal.

Service was excellent, dishes arrived still steaming heavily and we were never bereft of fine beverages.

A great neighborhood diner filled with reasonably priced South American dishes. Order a burrito, taco or an enchilada. Then decide on your filling. While this may sound familiar (Carne asada, fish, chorizo…) these dishes are fresh, filling and bursting with flavor. A burrito as thick as my arm and a bag full of fresh made chips/salsa (self serve salsa bar) and a soda was about $11 or pick any three Tacos with chips/salsa $9. Great value!
Open for both lunch and dinner. Eat in or take out. A nice selection good of local and Mexican brews. You can even get a margarita, in a plastic cup!
